Oberlin's Namesake: John Frederick Oberlin (1740-1826)

Théodore Müller (French, 1819-79)

The printer E. Simon, fils, produced a series of lithographs, published in Strasbourg, of the Ban de la Roche by Théodore Müller (born Strasbourg, 1819-79). It is entitled Vues du Ban de la Roche et des Environs (Views of the Ban de la Roche and Environs). The Oberlin College Archives owns six from the series.
