"5/70", a documentary film by Richard Haass '73

Immediately after the Kent State shootings, Richard N. Haass '73, then a first-year Oberlin student, began shooting a film in 16mm documenting student involvement in events on campus and at protest events afterward in Columbus, Ohio and Washington, D.C. His narrative in the film includes reflections on the anti-Vietnam War movement and the deaths at Kent State at the hands of the National Guard in Ohio that impacted students at Oberlin and everywhere in the country.
